💡If the torch is not firing for some reason, verify that the display on the plasma cutter does not show any error codes (Usually F## where ## is a number). Look at the manual above for steps to clear the codes.

F05 and F07 codes usually mean that there is not enough air pressure going through the nozzle. Check the air compressor and regulator before proceeding

Design

We recommend using Fusion 360 to design your parts. If your designs are meant to be bent, it is optimal to use Fusion 360’s Sheet Metal Workspace. Here is are 2 videos explaining how to use the workspace:

Programming

Use the Manufacturing workspace in Fusion 360 to program the plasma cutter. Use the fabrication tab instead of “Milling” or “Turning” when programming your toolpaths.

Import Tool Library and Post-Processor

Import the following tool library into Fusion 360

Starforge Plasma 1_27_25.tools

The way to import a library into Fusion is to go on the left hand of the tool screen and right click the local library tab, and hit import library. Then you select this file from your downloads folder.
